Now exiting the field – Senior, No. 8, Micah Kirven

The public address announcer said those words at the end of the Final Horn Ceremony for Micah Kirven, as his Mexia High School teammates and coaches walked with him out of Blackcat Field for the final time. Kirven died Wednesday, Oct. 2, after a sudden illness. His funeral is at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 11, at the MHS auditorium.
