The Limestone County Historical Commission held its regular meeting at 6 p. m. Sept. 5, in the Limestone County Courtroom. Members present were Donald (Bubba) McDonald, Linda Jordan, Peggy Billingsley, Linda Ferris, Bill Ferris, Rachel Newman, Sarah McReynolds, and William Reagan.
Hospital Corpsman 2nd Class Bradley Christian, a native of Mexia, is deployed as part of the Navy’s first En-Route Care System (ERCS) aboard the USS Dwight D. Eisenhower on a regularly scheduled deployment.
