Ruben David Fletes of Kemp, passed away away peacefully on April 15, 2023, in Dallas. Ruben was born Aug. 5, 1938, in Tegucigalpa, Honduras. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ernesto and Juanita Fletes; his wife of 61 years, Leska Mae Holloway Fletes; his daughter, Teresa Murray Heilig; brothers, Ernest, Charles and Joe Fletes; and his sister, Gloria Fletes Gonzalez.
Margadelle Yelverton, of Tehuacana, entered her heavenly home on April 20, 2023, at the age of 99. Services are pending at this time.
Ginger Ann Taylor, of Mexia, passed away on April 12, 2023, in Temple, at the age of 77. Funeral services will be held at 4 p.m., Sunday, April 16, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home with Bill Taylor officiating. Interment will follow in the New Hope Cemetery in Limestone County. Steven Blake Hughes, Will Taylor, Jonathan Perry, Timothy Perry, David Sheppard and David Snow will serve as pallbearers.
On April 12, 2023, Datha H. Crutchfield passed away peacefully at the age of 93. Her work here is complete; she received an offer she couldn’t refuse for a reunion with family and friends she has not seen in a long time. Known to her family as Memaw, she will be missed dearly. She always made the best pot roast, pancakes and chicken and dumplings; her memory and recipes will live on through all her grandbabies, who she loved dearly.
