W.H. ‘Dub’ Lott

On Nov. 20, 2018, W.H. “Dub” Lott, 83, passed away from this earthly life to his heavenly home.

He was born April 5, 1935, in Limestone County to William and Annie Lott. After graduating Mexia High School in 1954, he had many successful careers, retired from an oil company and later became a home builder.

Dub is survived by his loving wife Linn who lives in Chester, Va. A devoted father to Teresa, Donnie (Debbie), Barry, and Ernie (Jayme) and step-children Laura (Mike), Vicki (Jeff) and Mark as well as 16 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. A beloved brother to Bobby, Don, Linda Calame and Jerry and uncle to many nieces and nephews.

His quick wit, words of wisdom, and entrepreneurial spirit leave a legacy for all who knew him. As an avid golfer, there’s no doubt he’s on a tee box at Heaven’s Golf Course.

A graveside service is Dec. 8 at 11:30 a.m. at Shiloh Cemetery on Highway 39, south of Mexia. The Rev. Shane Norcross will officiate.
