SHEILA GAIL BLACK
A memorial service for Sheila Gail Black, 63, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 3, 2020, at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague.
Ms. Black passed away Sunday, Sept. 27, at Harris Methodist Hospital in Fort Worth.
Sheila was born on Feb. 10, 1957, in Carlsbad, N.M., to parents Donald Stonecipher and Helen Stonecipher. She lived around Limestone and Freestone counties most of her life. Sheila was a Registered Nurse at Parkview Regional Hospital for the last 16 years. She always wanted to help people. Sheila really enjoyed wood working but could do about anything she set her mind to. She was really looking forward to retirement so she could work on things around the house and spend time with her grandkids.
Sheila is survived by her three children, Clyde Allen and wife Rosalind of Houston, Joel Black and wife Destiny of Teague, and Martin Black and wife Marsha of Lanely; seven grandchildren, Bella Allen, Ashlynn Allen, Carson Black, Jackson Black, Bryceson Black, Emery Black, and Parker Black; and her sister, Sheri Peterson and husband Ken of Irving.
Ms. Black was preceded in death by her husband, A.D. Black; one son, Ricky Allen; her parents, Don and Helen Stonecipher; and her brother, Perry Stonecipher.
