KIMBERLY ILENE PARKER

Kimberly Ilene Parker passed away on Oct. 26, 2020. She was born in Waco on July 9, 1954, to Bobbye Wiates Jackson and Bobby McMillan.

She worked in healthcare for most of her life, most recently at the Mexia State School, where she worked for 25 years. Kim was a woman who enjoyed spending time with her family and friends. Her favorite places to visit almost always included a beach somewhere, and she loved animals, especially dolphins. She was a member of the VFWs Ladies Auxilliary for many years.

She was previously married to Paul Edward Joeris. On Nov. 17, 1987, she married Tom Parker.

She was preceded in death by her son, Matthew Joeris.

Her survivors include her husband, Tom Parker, of Mexia; her children, Chris Joeris of Mexia, Kevin Joeris and his wife, Patti, and child Stone Joeris of Kingsville; Jessica Joeris (widow of her son Matthew Joeris) and children Kylee, Kaden and Kolton of Mexia; her stepdaughter Veronica Story and her children Jacob and Christian of Tyler; her stepdaughter Natalie Parker and children Allen and Eli of Bullhead City, Ariz.; and honorary family member and friend Tracey Vasquez, along with many other close friends.

Kim will be cremated and her ashes buried in Mart. No service is planned at this time.
