Allen Arthur Sanders

Allen Sanders, 64, of Mexia, passed away Nov. 23, 2018. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov, 28, at Corley-Porter Funeral Home Chapel in Mexia.

Allen was born March 21, 195,4 in Joliet, Ill., to Robert Frances Sr. and Mary Ann Jenkins Sanders.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Robert Frances Sanders Jr.; and daughter, Christina Heard.

Allen is survived by his wife, Audrey Sanders of Mexia; brother, Kelly O’Hare of Mexia; sisters, Rebecca Lasseter and husband Clifford of Tyler and Jackie Nelson and husband Terry of Illinois; children, Jeremy Sanders of Rockdale, Kristi Sanders of Houston, Bobby Heard of Weatherford and Michael Deal of Wisconsin; grandchildren, Christian Waddle-Heard, Ryan Waddle, Alexis Anderson, Kamrin Willey and Jordan Chase; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends.
