ANITA BEATRICE ROSIER

Anita Beatrice Rosier, age 98, passed away March 1, 2019. Anita lived to see five generations of her family.  She was born Aug. 8, 1920, in Frosha to Bertha Cotton and Frank Pool.   

She married Wood Cayton, and they had two daughters, Joyce LaVerne and Alice Bertha.  She later married Otis Aubrey “Blackie” Sterling and they had two daughters, Kathleen and Audrey Dean. Later in life, she married Raymond Rosier.  

Anita was a nurse manager at Thomas Hospital for special needs children until retirement.   

Anita is preceded in death by her husbands, Wood Cayton, Blackie Sterling and Raymond Rosier; her daughters, Alice “Bert” Grimes and Kathleen Tippit; and her great-granddaughter, Starla; and her great-grandson, Austen.   

Anita is survived by her daughters, Joyce Sanov and Audrey “Deanie” Ross; 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and 11 great-great-grandchildren.   

Services were held at Prairie Hill Cemetery on March 3, where she was laid to rest.
