Farm Bureau presents ‘Second Hand Lions’
Limestone County Farm Bureau recently sponsored a free movie night at Old Fort Parker, showing “Second Hand Lions” There were 112 attending. Hot dogs and movie snacks were provided by the local board members and insurance agents. Proceeds and extra donations were awarded to two local FFA chapters who volunteered and helped with the event, Coolidge FFA and Groesbeck FFA. Mexia FFA was unable to attend. There are plans to make it an annual event.
