Ornaments memorializing crime victims cover Angel Tree
Like so many other events this year, the Angel Tree ceremony had to be canceled, but by no means are the crime victims the ornaments represent forgotten.
Mr. & Mrs. Mistletoe 2020 – Billy and Linda Archibald
Billy and Linda Holmes Archibald were both born at Brown Hospital in Mexia. They were raised in Mexia and graduated Class of 1969 at Mexia High School. Billy and Linda attended Navarro College and were married in August 1970.
Sale of LCDC complete
Just in time for the holiday season, Limestone County commissioners delivered good tidings that the sale of the Limestone County Detention Center was approved, and a contract with La- Salle Corrections has been signed.
