Navarro College Foundation’s singing contest fundraiser, Legacy 2021: A New Voice, was last held in February 2020, right before the pandemic hit – which can seem a very long time ago. The event was extremely popular, so those who enjoyed that night will be happy to know the contest is returning June 11, just over seven weeks from now.

Hospice is a calling for volunteer Deborah Hogan, a calling rooted in faith, life experience, and a community of caring people who inspire her to serve through Community Healthcare of Texas-Providence Hospice, the state’s largest not-for-profit hospice provider.
With the number of COVID cases decreasing in Limestone County, not only are the number of events starting to pick up but so is the crime rate, especially theft and drug use. Sheriff Murray Agnew reported on that increase Thursday, April 22, during the Rotary Club of Mexia meeting.
