The suspect accused of shooting DPS Trooper Chad Walker near Mexia Friday night has died by suicide, according to Limestone County Judge Richard Duncan.
The Jonathan Hardin Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution met for their monthly program with Regent Nancy McSwane presiding on March 10 at the Gibbs Memorial Library in Mexia.
A Scout from Mexia’s Troop 70 spoke to the Mexia Lions Club recently, describing the project he hopes will make him an Eagle Scout.
