Residents, commissioners talk road conditions
Several Limestone County citizens showed up for discussion about the condition of county roads (specifically LCR 740) at the Commissioners Court meeting Tuesday, Jan. 25, and two women communicated the danger and need for improvement on a road not built to withstand the traffic it has received in recent years.
Back to school ... again
As scheduled, schools in the Mexia Independent School District reopened Wednesday, Jan. 26, after a second closing partially caused by COVID. However, the virus held its grip and forced some students, teachers and administrators to return home shortly after they returned.
