Tehuacana woman to represent Limestone in Silver-Haired Legislature

The Texas Silver-Haired Legislature will conduct its second of three sessions for the 2019-21 biennium Oct. 20-23 at the Wyndham Garden Hotel in Austin, and Limestone County residents will be represented there.

Council OKs Dispatch Center despite qualms

Mexia City Council voted Tuesday to consolidate the city’s Police Dispatch Department with the county’s dispatchers but the vote was not unanimous, and almost every member of the council expressed their doubts about doing so.
