Mexia churches of different backgrounds came together in unity Saturday night to hold a concert that showed they are the same when it comes to showing their zeal for Christ,
Atina Cagadas gave those attending the Dec. 4 Limestone County Tree of Angels ceremony a description of what happened on March 31, 2011, when her fiancé, Raymond Jacoby, was shot and killed in front of his Mexia salvage yard business just days before they were to be married. Cagadas was invited to speak as someone strongly affected by criminal violence.
