Mexia police arrested a man last week after his girlfriend told them her boyfriend had assaulted her then left in her car. Also last week, the Mexia PD arrested a man for alleged domestic violence against a family member, and arrested another man for firing shots during a fight at the city park, previously reported in the May 6 issue of The Mexia News. MPD also issued a citation to a local mom for allegedly leaving her children in a truck with the windows closed while she went into a store.
This week at Mexia LTC we started off playing wacky table bowling on Monday morning. Residents played bingo on Monday afternoon.
