Mexia ISD parents were sent this letter from Superintendent Ryder Appleton, stipulating that student learning would only be in person starting in the fall, which begins Aug. 11.

Every year about this time, the field that Dick and Linda Flatt have planted with sunflowers is in full bloom, a visual gift to the people of Mexia.
