This week at Mexia LTC we started off with reading on Monday morning. Residents played hallway ring toss on Monday afternoon. Residents enjoyed activities of choice on Tuesday morning and played hallway bean bag toss on Tuesday afternoon.
Following are titles of more nonfiction books which the Gibbs Memorial Library has purchased to replace those that were destroyed in the 2019. Library Director ShienDee Pullman are diligently working to process and shelve hundreds of new books.
Peyton Decordova, of Groesbeck 4-H, escorts her Grand Champion steer around the sale ring as bidders continue to up the ante. Eventually Citizens State Bank purchased the steer for $20,000.
Five local businesses in Mexia financially helped Mexia ISD with a gingerbread house decorating contest for its third-graders at Sims Intermediate School this week.
