This week at Mexia LTC we started the week bowling on Monday morning. Residents played bingo that afternoon. Residents enjoyed Bible group with Bob Kersten on Tuesday morning. Residents played bean bag toss on Tuesday afternoon.

Sign-ups are ongoing for the Mexia Ladycat Co-Ed Volleyball Tournament, which will be Saturday, July 22, beginning at 8 a.m. at Mexia Junior High.
Limestone Medical Center is being recognized as the Business of the Month for July. LMC has been in business providing healthcare and serving our community for over 50 years. “We are proud to have them as active members of the Mexia Area Chamber of Commerce,” said chamber executive director Traci LaFoy.
The Mexia Garden Club proudly presents the Civic Pride Award to El Patio Restaurant on Milan Street. Accepting the award from Garden Club member Patty Manley are Kendell Castillo and Hiromy Cisneros. The rock garden has plants not needing a lot of water. There are palms, cactus and maguey plants.
Limestone Christian Academy is preparing for its second year of classic Christian education. The 2023-24 school year brings in an enrollment increase of 13 students, one teacher and two grade levels.
