One injured in shooting at Valero

Gunfire erupted Saturday afternoon, Oct. 26, at the Valero gas station at the intersection of Milam and Bailey.
The occupants from two vehicles had a confrontation that resulted in multiple shots being exchanged about 2:20 p.m., according to a press release from the Mexia Police Department. One person was injured and was in stable condition at Parkview Regional Hospital, at the time of the press release.
MPD has recovered the vehicles and weapons used in the altercation have been recovered, and the investigation continues.
