A caller informed the Mexia Police Department about 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, May 3, that a body had been found on the property of a business in the 700 block of East Milam.
The body was sent for autopsy. As of the time of the MPD press release, the body had not been identified.
As this is an ongoing investigation, no further details are available at this time, MPD officials said via the press release.
