The Mexia Ladycats volleyball team lost at home in straight sets Tuesday to Teague 15-25, 16-25, 12-25. The loss drops Mexia's season record to 6-16 overall with a 1-3 mark in district play.
The Mexia volleyball team had one first team All-District 20-3A selection, one second-teamer and three honorable mention choices for the 2022 season.
In a volleyball match that had more peaks and valleys than the Swiss countryside, Mexia came out on top with a five-set victory at Teague on Tuesday night.
The Mexia volleyball team lost to Elkhart in four sets in a District 20-3A match at the Mexia High School gym Tuesday night.
The loss dropped Mexia to 0-2 in district play.
The Bay City Tournament Aug. 18-20 was a positive experience for the Mexia volleyball team.
