Wortham will try to bounce back from its first loss of the season when it returns to the friendly confines of Bulldog Field for a 7:30 p.m. game against Cayuga on Friday.

The Mexia volleyball team lost in three sets to state-ranked Bremond on Tuesday night at Bremond. Game scores were 25-17, 25-16, 25-20.
Bremond is ranked No. 7 in the state in Class 2A.
