The Wortham volleyball team won its second consecutive match to begin District 14- 2A play with a three-set sweep at Mt. Calm on Tuesday.

It wasn’t pretty, but in the end the Wortham football team got out of Dawson with a 42- 30 victory in a rivalry game among Bulldogs at Dawson on Friday night.
It will be a tussle of teams with similar philosophies on offense when Wortham travels to Cayuga for a 7:30 p.m. game Friday night.
