Ernest Oscar Whitener, of Mexia, passed away on Sept. 16, 2020, at Parkview Regional Hospital in Mexia. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, Sept. 19, at 11 a.m.

Ernest L. Brown, 72, of Wortham, passed away on Sept. 10, 2020, at Freestone Medical Center in Fairfield. Graveside services will be held on Friday, Sept. 18, at 1 p.m. at Wortham Cemetery, with Minister Tas Betts Jr. officiating. Honorary pallbearers are James Brown, Malcolm Brown, Patrick Lovely, Al Brown, Grover Moten and Charles Hill.

Bobby Joe Coslin, of Donie, passed away Sept. 10, 2020, in Waco, at the age of 79. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m., Thursday, Sept. 17, in the Sardis Cemetery, near Jewett, with John Smith officiating. Bobby Coslin Jr., Dean Coslin, Michael Coslin, Christopher Coslin, Jeremy Coslin and John Smith will serve as pallbearers. Brian Bell will serve as an honorary pallbearer.
