TINA DIANE JOHNSON

Tina Diane Johnson was born to the parentage of the late Granville Hutchinson and Alice S. Adams on March 19, 1970, in Mexia.

She received her formal education from Mexia Public Schools. She accepted Christ at an early age and united with Union Baptist Church and served faithfully as an Usher and on the Kitchen Committee until her death.

She enjoyed sitting on her front porch laughing and talking with her neighbor and friend Willie Mae Giddings. She also enjoyed going to garage sales and shopping with her sister Sharon. Tina loved her family and enjoyed family gatherings. Tina passed away Nov. 21, 2021. She was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, James Adams.

She leaves to cherish her memories one son, Willie (Duree) Adams and one daughter, Sherrie Adams; two sisters, Sharon Gardener of Mexia,, Veronica Adams of Mexia; two brothers, Pastor Victor Adams (Rita), Mexia, Cedric Adams (Juanita) of Georgetown; nine grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Service was held Nov 28 at Union Baptist Church of Mexia.
