RUBEN ‘BUBBA’ TERRELL

Ruben (Bubba) Terrell of Waco was born May 2, 1950, to Lucy Mae King and L.C. Terrell.

He worked at many stores for many years until his health failed him. Terrell battled congestive heart failure for years, but he was always funny and full of “high side.” He will truly be missed. He passed away Nov. 5, 2021.

He was preceded in death by both parents and his siblings, Willie C. Terrell, L.C. Terrell, Ruthie Terrell Ford, Loretta Diggs, Carolyn Washington; nephew, Dexter Prather; and niece, LaTravia Drake.

Terrell leaves to cherish his memories: sisters, Doris Prather and Jeanette Diggs; brother, Darryl Terrell; a very devoted niece, Kimly Terrell; nieces, Debra Brown, DeeDee Thomas (Marvin), Tamra Smith, Shannon Smith, Tiffany Isaacs (Addi), Kimaiee Rivers; nephews, L.C. Jones, Marquise Hall, D’Juandare Powell, Isaiah Peel and William Earl; step-daughter, TyRhonda Mac-Murray; devoted cousin, Floyd Stewart; devoted friends, Alvin Taylor and Carl Garrett; devoted cousin and caregiver, La-Trina Washington; and a host of family and friends.

Service will be held Nov. 13 at Greater Bible Way Church of Waco. Arrangements and service entrusted to Pearly Gates Funeral Home.
