R.C. CONDON

R.C. Condon, age 84, of Knoxville, Tenn., passed away on Monday April 19, 2021. He was born in Des Moines, Iowa on March 25, 1937. He was a self-employed mechanic for many years, as well as a facilities manager at West Point Pepperell. R.C. liked to play golf and to travel. He most enjoyed spending time with his grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by parents, Earl and Lorene Condon; wife Jeanette Williams Condon; son Robert Condon; daughter-in-law Janet Salter Condon; granddaughter Erin Sewell and son-in-law Rick Russell.

R.C. is survived by his children, Carol (Bill) Sewell, Becky Russell and Ray (Sandra) Condon; grandchildren Rachel (Brandon) Dawson, Ben Condon, Kimberly Russell, Josh Condon and Emily Russell; great-grandchildren, Josiah, Emma and Kate Dawson; and brother and sister-in-law, Darrow and Louise Condon.

Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, April 24, for an 11 a.m. graveside service at Fountain City United Methodist Cemetery. The Rev. Tom Ballard, senior pastor of Fountain City United Methodist Church, will officiate the service.
