PATRICIA ‘PAT’ CAROL GAMBLE
Patricia “Pat” Carol Gamble, of Mexia, passed away Sept. 6, 2021, in Waco, at the age of 66. Funeral services will be at noon, Saturday, Sept. 11, at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home, with the Rev. Marcus Sheffield officiating. Interment will follow in the Prairie Hill Cemetery. Serving as pallbearers will be Brad Kinard, Shane Dees, Clayton Frazier, Jace Lloyd, Nathen De La O and Cade Layne.
Visitation with the family will be prior to the service from 11 a.m. to noon at Blair-Stubbs Funeral Home.
Pat was born Jan. 22, 1955, in El Paso, to Loyd Carol and Peggy Joyce (Bell) Gauntt. She lived most of her life in Mexia and was a graduate of Mexia High School. She worked as a service department manager for Dick Scott Ford in Mexia, Johnny Sirman in Corsicana, and Classic Paint & Body in Mexia.
Pat loved most anything that had to do with being outdoors. She enjoyed hunting, barrel racing or just riding horses for pleasure, and spending time on her West Texas farm. She also loved animals of all kinds.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Loyd and Peggy Gauntt.
Pat is survived by two sisters, Delynna “Dee” Post and husband Mike of Hillsboro and Lee Ann Huse of Corsicana; six nieces; four great-nephews; and three great-nieces.
