Mike graduated from the University of Texas at Arlington in 1974 with degrees in both Microbiology and History. Mike had a long and successful career with a global copier company. He was well liked and highly respected.
Mike will be forever remembered as a good friend and positive influence to those around him. Mike always valued making memories and made many in his lifetime. He had a wonderfully sharp wit, an infectious grin, a keen mind, a tremendous memory, and was always cheerful. Mike was larger than life in many ways, working hard and playing hard. He always tried to take care of the people in his family as well as the people he worked with, many becoming close friends.

Mike was a voracious reader and had many interests and hobbies. He could quote a vast array of literature and film off the top of his head. He was a champion skeet shooter and an outstanding bird hunter. Mike was a very good rifle and pistol shot and shared his hobby with many people. He loved his BMW motorcycle. His long motorcycle trips across the country were legendary. He loved Jimmy Hendrix songs and could recite many of them.
Mike is survived by his loving wife, Elizabeth; his sister, Chris George and her husband Greg; and many cousins, in-laws, and extended family members.
Mike will be missed but not forgotten. His zest for life will always be remembered. We mourn his passing but celebrate the time we had together.
