Melvin Joe Wallace

Melvin Joe Wallace, 68, a loving father, son, and brother, will remain in our hearts after his sunrise to sunset. He died Dec. 11 in Austin.

Melvin was preceded in death by his parents, Jay Lee Sr. and Elsa Mae Wallace, and one son.

He was born Dec. 8, 1955, in Mexia.

He leaves to cherish his memories three brothers: Walter Wallace and wife Lovie of Spring; Eugene Wallace and wife Rochelle of Del Valle and Jay Wallace Jr. and wife Tracey of Cedar Hill; two sisters: Jessie McNeil of Austin and Sandra Cook and husband Malton of Mexia; daughter, Melveka Amos of Waco and granddaughter Kelise Washington.

He also leaves a host of nieces, nephews, and friends also. Gone but never forgotten.

Graveside services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, Dec. 20, at the Grove Island Cemetery under the direction of Littles Funeral Home of Waco.
