Larry Michael Lynch
Larry Michael Lynch, of Mexia, passed away April 12, 2019, in Waco at the age of 72. Larry was born Sept. 9, 1946, in Oakdale, Calif., to Milton Edward and Barbara Ann Mullins Lynch. He graduated from UT Tyler with a Master’s of Science Degree. He retired, after many years of service, as director of the Foster Grandparent program at the Mexia State School.
Larry was outgoing, enjoyed interacting with people and made the most of life. In addition to spending time with family, he had a number of other outside interest. He was an avid fisherman, master woodworker, hot rod enthusiast, and Black Belt Karate Instructor. He also taught Sunday school at Tehuacana Methodist Church, where he was longtime active member. Larry also loved helping others.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Milton and Barbara Mullins; and brother, Brian Lynch.
Larry is survived by his loving wife, Judy Lynch; children, Madeline Celeste Milne and husband, Carlos of Puerto Vallarta, Melissa Ann Kinsey and husband, Rickie of Mexia and Christopher Mark Jackson and wife, Yunita of Indonesia; grandchildren, Maxwell Seaton Hansen-Milne, Zayne Maddox Kinsey, Monica Jackson and Jacob Jackson; and sister, Valerie Elhalta of Utah.
There will be no formal service.
