Judy Lynn Stark
Funeral services for Judy Stark, 53, will be held on Saturday, April 27, at 2 p.m. at Bowers Funeral Home in Teague. Shane Winters will officiate. Interment will follow at Point Enterprise.
Visitation will be held Friday, April 28, from 8 until 10 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mrs. Stark passed away on Sunday, April 21, 2024, at her residence near Teague.
Judy Lynn Stark was born Aug. 19, 1970, in Houston, to parents Joan Carol Jones and Billy Wayne Johnson. She attended Clear Lake High School. She continued her education at Panola College in Carthage, and in 2014 she obtained an LVN degree. Judy worked in long-term care for almost 20 years. She loved the relationships she developed with the residents, their families, and her coworkers. Judy’s last eight years of nursing were spent with her Mexia LTC Family.
She is survived by her husband, Rodney Stark; her daughter, Tasha McCoy and husband Brian of Mexia; her son, Corey McCarty and wife McKenzie of Longview; 10 grandchildren, Jayden, Samuel, Bayleigh, Ethan, Kiley, Scarlet, Serenity, Haddie Jo, Austin, and Bentley; three sisters, Kathi Proft, Kristi Johnson, and Susan Bozeman and husband Bill; nieces and nephews, Billy Phillips, Russell Gentsch, Taylor Sprowl, Trey Bozeman, and Karly Bozeman.
