Ella Davis-Busby, affectionately called “Pie” by friends and family, passed June 3, 2021, at her home in DeSoto.
Ella was born in Mexia on Feb. 15, 1932. She was the firstborn child of the late Wilmer “Bill” Davis and Jane Lacy Sanders-Davis. Ella’s life will be celebrated Wednesday, June 9, at Sweet Home Missionary Baptist Church, 311 N. Baker Street in Mexia. Visitation and reception will be held in the Church Fellowship Hall from 11 a.m. to noon.
The Celebration of Life Service will begin at 12:30 p.m. in the church sanctuary.
