Benita Ann Brooks, age 71, passed away on July 29, 2021.
A graveside service will be held at Henderson Chapel Cemetery in Mexia on Saturday, Aug. 14, at 11 a.m.
Benita was born in Mexia, and was baptized at St. Luke Methodist Church. She graduated from Dunbar High School in Mexia, and Navarro College in Corsicana.
Benita retired from the Texas Workforce Commission with 30 years of service in Houston. She was a faithful member of Trinity United Methodist Church in Houston for over 40 years.
