AMY AWALT JACOBS
Amy Awalt Jacobs, 68, of Corsicana, passed away May 7, 2021, in Waco.
A memorial will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 15, at The American Legion, 632 N. Beaton in Corsicana.
Amy was born June 23,1952, in Grand Lake, Colo., to Ray Sr. and Ruth Awalt. She cherished her family and her pets. She enjoyed fishing. She was preceded in death by her parents, Ray Sr. and Ruth Awalt.
Amy is survived by daughter Lori Leger and husband Steven; two sons, Shannon Hardcastle, and Thomas Ray Hardcastle and wife Jessica; seven grandchildren, Robby Leger, Sunny Leger, Bobby Hardcastle, Braden Hardcastle, Braxton Hardcastle, Bella Hardcastle, Dakota Thompson; great-granddaughter Aubrei Leger; sister Sherry Harper and husband Scot; brother Lester Awalt and wife Tammy, Brother Ray Awalt Jr. and wife Sheila; special cousin Cindy Anderton; numerous nieces, nephews and cousins; and special friend Sandra Brown. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the ASPCA in honor my mom (Amy Jacobs), who would do without to make sure animals had more than they needed.
