Anna Nell Waters Brotherton went to be with God Monday, Jan. 8. She was born in Mexia to Glen Cull and L.C. Waters. She was a lifelong educator and a cherished mother, grandmother, and great grandmother.
She is survived by two sons, Steven Howk and wife Jackie; Alan Howk and wife Martha; four grandchildren: Lindsay Duncan, Heather rotherton Plaza, Courtney Fitzgerald and Christopher Collier and great grandchildren: Maisie Duncan, Dylan Plaza, Noah Plaza, and Lio Plaza. We all love you so very much and will miss you forever.
