Patricia Alvarado

Patricia Alvarado, 79, of Mexia, passed away May 16, 2023, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 20 at Jones Funeral Services Chapel with Pastor Alejandro Suarez and Adrian Hidrogo officiating. Interment will follow at Mexia Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Ms. Alvarado was born March 18, 1944. in Cd Lerdo, Durango, Mexico, to Jose Inez Hidrogo and Maria Garcia. She had been in Mexia since 1987 and was a homemaker. She was a member of Mision Pentecostes.

Patricia was preceded in death by her husband, Jose Alvarado; and grandson, Lewis Gabriel Moreno.

She is survived by her sons, Adrian Hidrogo of Salado, Jose Hidrogo, David Alvarado and Joel Alvarado of Mexia; daughters, Evangelina Esquivel of Dallas, Alexandra Davidson of Groesbeck, Elizabeth Escamilla of Mexia and Miriam Melendez and Maria Moreno of Waco; as well as numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers are Gonzalo Hidrogo, Bryan Hidrogo, Mason Alvarado, Joe A. Alvarado, Caleb Moreno, Angel Escamilla, Moses Melendez and Roberto Hidrogo.
