Remembering Pamela’s Reflections of Life

Pamela R. McVea was born Aug. 12, 1968, to William and Edna McVea in Athens. She was the first of two children. Pamela left this life here on earth to begin her heavenly life on Saturday, Sept. 18, 2021.

Pamela was preceded in death by her father, William McVea; one sister, Delvetta McVea; grandparents Rosco and Ruby Patton, Shan Turner, and Herman and Indiana Hewitt.

She started her Christian journey and accepted Christ at an early age and became a member of Second Missionary Baptist Church in Itasca.

Pamela attended school in Athens and Itasca. She also attended Gary Job Corps in San Marcos. She was a medical assistant most of her adult life.

Left to honor her life and cherish her memories is her mother, Edna McVea.

Pamela love the Lord. She studied her Bible day and night and was a Minister for Christ.

Services for Ms. McVea will be held on Oct. 2, at 1 p.m. at First Presbyterian Church at 106 North Lamar in Itasca.
