DANIEL ALBERT MCINTIRE
Daniel Albert McIntire passed away Aug. 18, 2021.
He was born on Dec. 22, 1934, in Newton, Mass., to Daniel Porter and Irene Ducayet McIntire. Daniel served in the Air Force and was honorably discharged as a staff sergeant in 1959. He married Marilyn Gray on Jan. 17, 1959. He continued to work for the Air Force as a financial advisor in the civil service for 39 years at Reese Air Force Base in Lubbock.
He leaves behind his wife of 62 years Marilyn McIntire, a daughter Carolyn Arnold, son-in-law, Terry Arnold, all of Mexia. Dan had two grandsons, T.J. Arnold of Plano and Shane Arnold of Mexia. He leaves behind three great grandchildren, Braden Scott Arnold of Denton, Gavin Scott Tomchuk of Denton, and Salem Hallie Asher Arnold of Plano. He was preceded in death by his parents Daniel and Irene McIntire and his brother, Roger McIntire, all from New Hampshire.
Memorial services for Dan will be held at Jones Funeral Services Chapel on Saturday, August 21, 2021 at 2:00 p.m.
