Limestone County Emergency Management announced Tuesday, April 28, the 13th case of COVID-19 virus in the county, a woman in her 50s, who lives between Mexia and Groesbeck.
Limestone County’s Emergency Management Coordinator Matt Groveton on his office’s Facebook page, wrote, “A local TV station is reporting that Limestone now has a total of 16 COVID-19 cases. We have no idea where they got that number. Our local Health Authority has no knowledge of any additional cases. Until we are advised differently by someone in authority, just consider this another erroneous report.”
