Limestone County Commissioners John McCarver and Jerry Allen participated in the final court meeting of their terms Tuesday, Dec. 22, through a conference call because of COVID concerns. Other county leaders were also missing from the table, as County Clerk Kerrie Cobb phoned in, and County Judge Richard Duncan, who shared Dec. 9 on Facebook that he had tested positive for COVID, was not present for the meeting or available for the conference call. Precinct 4 Commissioner Bobby Forrest led the meeting in his place, and made sure to offer thanks on behalf of the county to the men leaving the court.
