Navarro College is to receive a portion of a Department of Agriculture grant to improve distance learning in five counties in Central Texas.
Early voting for the Nov. 3 General Election started extra early this time, Tuesday, Oct. 13, after Gov. Abbot ordered an extra week for early voting.
A post oak tree in Limestone County was determined in September to be the 13th largest post oak in Texas last month, but has already been displaced to 14th-largest when another tree was determined
All early voting in Limestone County will take place at either the courthouse, 200 W. State St. in Groesbeck; or at the Mexia Civic Center, 101 S. McKinney in Mexia. Anyone registered to vote in Limestone County may vote at either location. Early voting runs Oct. 13 through Oct. 30.
