Texas has created a program to provide to its school districts COVID tests that give results in 15 minutes, and Mexia ISD is already using those tests to quickly get results when testing employees and students.
Due to a Mexia football player testing positive for COVID-19 on Sunday, the entire team and some of the coaches have been told to quarantine for 14 days, and the Blackcats will have to forfeit their area round playoff game to Sunnyvale this week.
