This week at Mexia LTC we started off with in-room activities of choice on Monday. We were to read Bible study notes sent by Bob Kersten on Tuesday on each hall. Residents will enjoy coloring and watching TV in their rooms on Wednesday.

Mexia’s newest barber shop, The Shave Cave, opened Aug. 4, and its owners see it as an ideal place in Mexia for men to chill and relax as they get their hair cut in an up-to-date style and get a comfortable shave.

Missing child found safe in Colorado

After a three-day search, led by the Freestone County Sheriff’s Office, a 3-year-old boy was found safe at a hotel in Denver, Colo., on Monday, Sept. 20.
