School is back in session at Coolidge ISD ,and on Wednesday, July 28, a Back 2 School Bash allowed parents and students to meet the teachers.

The Mexia Area Chamber of Commerce organized a luncheon event for Mexia Independent School District faculty and staff on Friday, Aug. 5, at the Mexia High School cafeteria. The chamber, other organizations and individuals helped serve almost 400 people a Joe Friday’s Diner chicken spaghetti lunch. Each attendee received a gift bag and door prizes were awarded.
