MISD trustees hear reports, presentation on new scoreboard

The Mexia Independent School Board of Trustees went through its agenda quickly. The board heard the superintendent’s report, listened to a campus goals presentation and discussed a new scoreboard at Blackcat Field during the regular meeting Monday, Sept. 19.

Mexia council adopts budget, tax rate

Chronic Wasting Disease Confirmed at a Limestone County Deer Breeding Facility

AUSTIN – Texas Parks and Wildlife Department (TPWD) and Texas Animal Health Commission (TAHC) discovered Chronic Wasting Disease (CWD) in a deer breeding facility in Limestone County.
