At the Olympic Trials on Jun. 30, 1956, Eddie Southern of the University of Texas and Ohio State’s Glenn Davis both ran the 400-meter hurdles in world record time.
This week at Mexia LTC we started the week with bowling on Monday morning. Residents played bingo that afternoon. Residents enjoyed Bible group with Bob Kersten on Tuesday morning. Residents enjoyed a hot dog lunch with delicious watermelons on Tuesday to celebrate the 4th of July! Watermelons were provided by Mr. Eppie! We appreciate his kindness. Residents will have their exercise group on Wednesday morning and play bingo that afternoon. Residents will play ring toss on Thursday morning and bean bag toss on Thursday afternoon. Residents will enjoy manicures on Friday morning and play bingo that afternoon. Residents will have worship services on Sunday morning and enjoy Church services either online or on TV Sunday evening.
