MISD calendar changing next year
The Mexia Independent School District calendar for the 2023-24 school year will have a few different features than this year’s calendar.
Limestsone County Historical Commish meets, hears a presentation on St. Paul College
The Limestone County Historical Commission held its regular meeting at 6 p. m. March 7, in the Limestone County Courtroom. Members present were Donald (Bubba) McDonald, Linda Jordan, Rachel Newman, Sarah McReynolds, Liz McDaniel, Peggy Billingsley and William Reagan. Visitors present were Liam Newman and Daniel Keeling.
Mexia sales tax up over same month last year
Texas sales tax revenue totaled $3.68 billion in February, 14.2% more than in February 2022.

This week at Mexia LTC, we started the week off bowling on Monday morning. Residents played bingo on Monday afternoon. Residents enjoyed their Bible Group with Bob Kersten on Tuesday morning. Residents enjoyed ice cream sundaes that afternoon. Residents will have their exercise group on Wednesday morning and play bingo that afternoon. Residents will enjoy adopting a pet with Sindra from Accent Care on Thursday morning and playing bean bag toss that afternoon. Residents will enjoy manicures on Friday morning and play bingo that afternoon. Residents will have worship services on Sunday morning and enjoy Church services either online or on TV on Sunday evening.
