This week at Mexia Long Term Care we started our week having Bible study with Irma Carranza on Monday morning, and residents enjoyed playing bingo on Monday afternoon.
The City of Mexia’s recent cleanup project was a success, and a similar event may be held in the spring to continue eliminating unsightly and illegal trash from business and residential properties, according to City Manager Joshua Barron.
Gunfire erupted Saturday afternoon, Oct. 26, at the Valero gas station at the intersection of Milam and Bailey Streets in Mexia.
About 31 percent of Limestone County’s 14,441 registered voters turned out at the polls for early voting during the first week in the Nov. 5 General Election.
